Dominic Amenta

Dominic Amenta is a marketing communications veteran with more than 14 years of experience handling a range of clients in the consumer, hospitality, lifestyle, sports, business and philanthropic sectors. As the founder of DPA Communications, Dominic applies his experience in the public relations field to help clients develop communication strategies that lead to results.

Prior to establishing DPA Communications, Dominic spent nearly a decade with Regan Communications Group. During his tenure, he rose through the ranks, from account coordinator to vice president while handling marquee clients including Mohegan Sun, Dunkin’ Donuts, New Balance, The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers, Boston Wine Expo, Ace Ticket and the Extreme Sailing Series’ first ever stop on U.S. soil in 2010 as part of Boston Harborfest’s 30th anniversary. After leaving Regan, he spent time as the director of public relations and communications for Altus Marketing & Management where highlights include building the hospitality PR division; conceptualizing the PR strategy for the launch of the Revere Hotel; and handling all responsibilities for the Lenox Hotel’s announcement of Boston’s first open-to-the-public, curbside electric vehicle charging station.

In both roles, Dominic was instrumental in conceiving, developing and executing marketing communications campaigns that maximized media exposure in local and regional markets, as well as nationally.  Dominic has been featured or quoted in PR News, Boston Herald, Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, Boston Metro and Patriot Ledger on behalf of his clients, insight on social media practices and overall expertise in the PR and marketing field.

Dominic is a member of the South Shore YMCA’s Germantown Neighborhood Center board; volunteers his time with small business development company Interise as an integral part of its Private Sector Network (PSN); partner at restaurant consulting agency – Mat Schaffer Consulting and sits on the Veterans Legal Services event committee. Dominic graduated from Bryant University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Psychology.
