Scott D. Ford

Scott D. Ford is a litigator with Murray Law Office located in Downtown Boston.  His involvement with Blue Hills Business Group concentrates on advising business owners on all manner of transactional legal issues they face on a daily basis, such as negotiating contracts and leases, the acquisition and divestments of assets including real estate, licensing matters, and resolving disputes.  He counsels his clients so they may avoid disputes whenever possible, but stands ready to litigate if necessary.

He holds a B.A. in Finance from Bryant College (University) and earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Suffolk University Law School.  When not in the courtroom or the boardroom, Scott enjoys hiking, kayaking and fishing, especially at his family cabin along Mid-Coast Maine.  He lives in Braintree, Massachusetts with his wife Kelly and their Portuguese water dog, Charlie.

Scott’s charitable passion is open space preservation and conservation on the South Shore, and serves as Secretary and a member of the Board of Directors of Wildlands Trust, Inc.

He is a past member of the City of Brockton Conservation Commission and Planning Board.
